Reseller hosting is a hosting account designed to be divided up and sold on. Instead of one control panel for one website, you get WHM — the Web Host Manager — and from it you create as many individual cPanel accounts as your plan allows. Each one behaves like a separate hosting account with its own login, its own files, its own databases and its own email, and each one can be sold to a different client under your own brand.
The appeal is straightforward. If you build websites for a living, your clients need hosting anyway. Sending them to buy it themselves means you lose control of the environment, inherit whatever support problems that host creates, and hand a recurring revenue stream to somebody else. Reselling means you choose the platform, you set the packages, and the monthly relationship stays with you.
From your client's point of view nothing looks unusual. They log in to cPanel, they see your company name, and their website runs on nameservers that carry your domain. White-label hosting means Vebloom is invisible at every step: in the control panel, in the nameservers and in the support conversation. If they ever ask who runs the servers, that is your decision to share rather than something the product announces.
Underneath, the platform is the same one we run for every hosting customer: SSD storage in RAID-10, a 99.9% uptime SLA, Cloudflare support, and 24/7 access to our engineers when something needs us. The difference is who holds the account and who the end client talks to. We handle hardware, networking, operating system patching and server security. You handle packages, pricing and your own customer relationships.
Reseller hosting is not the right answer for everybody. If you run one website, a normal shared hosting plan is cheaper and simpler. If you need root access, custom server software or guaranteed resources for one demanding application, a VPS is the better fit. Reselling earns its keep when you are managing websites for several other people and want the hosting layer to be yours.
The pieces that turn a hosting account into a product you can sell.
Your nameservers, your branding in the client control panel and your name on client-facing email. Vebloom is not mentioned anywhere your clients can see.
Automated ordering, invoicing, provisioning and suspension, included at no extra cost on Elite — the difference between a side project and a business that runs itself.
Every client gets their own cPanel account and their own filesystem. One compromised site stays contained rather than taking the others with it.
Free Cloudflare integration on every plan, so you can put caching and DDoS protection in front of client sites without extra tooling.
From 60 cPanel accounts on Basic up to 200 on Elite, with disk space, bandwidth and dedicated IPs scaling alongside your client list.
Escalate to our engineers privately and answer your client in your own voice. We never contact the people you host directly.
White labelling is only convincing if it is complete. A control panel carrying your logo is undermined the moment a client looks up the nameservers and finds another company's domain, or receives a system email signed by somebody they have never heard of.
On every reseller plan you create private nameservers on your own domain — typically ns1.youragency.com and ns2.youragency.com — and set them as the default for every account you provision. Client sites then point at your brand, and anybody curious enough to check sees you rather than us.
Inside cPanel you control the branding, the theme and the contact details shown to clients. Combined with WHMCS on the Elite plan, your invoices, welcome emails and client area all carry your identity too.
| Touchpoint | Who it shows |
|---|---|
| Nameservers | Your domain |
| cPanel branding | Your brand |
| Welcome emails | Your details |
| Invoices (Elite) | Your company |
| Support contact | You |
| Vebloom | Invisible |
Reseller hosting is often sold as passive income. It is better understood as a margin business attached to work you already do.
| Clients | You charge each | Monthly revenue | Your plan cost | Gross margin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $8 | $40 | $34.99 | $5.01 |
| 15 | $8 | $120 | $34.99 | $85.01 |
| 30 | $10 | $300 | $64.99 | $235.01 |
| 60 | $10 | $600 | $64.99 | $535.01 |
| 120 | $12 | $1,440 | $99.99 | $1,340.01 |
Those figures are gross. The real cost is your time, and it is the line most people forget to put in the spreadsheet. Budget roughly fifteen minutes per client per month for support in the first year: many will need nothing at all and a few will need an hour. If you charge $8 and spend an hour on a ticket, you have lost money on that client, so price for the support you will actually provide rather than for the disk space they will actually use.
WHM is your panel. From it you create packages (how much disk, bandwidth and how many databases a tier includes), create accounts against those packages, suspend accounts that have not paid, change limits as clients grow, take backups and see which accounts are consuming the most resources. You also set up your private nameservers and account-wide defaults here.
cPanel is your client's panel. They use it to upload files, install WordPress, create email addresses, manage databases, set up redirects and view basic statistics. They cannot see other accounts on the server, and they cannot change anything outside their own account — which is exactly what you want when you are responsible for several clients at once.
On the Elite plan, WHMCS sits in front of both. A client orders a package from your website, WHMCS takes payment, creates the cPanel account through WHM automatically, sends the welcome email with their login details, and raises the invoice again next month without you doing anything. When an invoice goes unpaid past your grace period, it can suspend the account and unsuspend it the moment payment arrives.
The division of labour matters: we look after the server, you look after the business, and your clients look after their websites. Each layer only sees what it needs to.
Pick Basic, Standard or Elite depending on how many client accounts you expect in the next year, and whether you want WHMCS included.
Register ns1 and ns2 hostnames on your own domain, point them at the IPs we provide and set them as your WHM default.
Decide what a small, medium and large client gets — disk, bandwidth, email accounts and databases — and price each one for the support you will give.
Create accounts in WHM, or let WHMCS do it automatically on Elite. Migrate existing client sites with help from our team.
You already build the sites. Hosting them keeps the environment under your control and adds predictable monthly revenue to project work.
Host your own clients instead of sending them elsewhere, and stop debugging problems on hosting you cannot log in to.
Landing pages, campaign microsites and client websites in one place, with the ability to spin up a new account in minutes.
Add website and email hosting to the services you already provide to small businesses, under the brand they already trust.
Running a portfolio of your own sites? WHM keeps each one isolated, with separate logins, backups and resource limits.
You have one website, you need root access, or you want a hands-off income stream. The first two point to shared hosting or a VPS; the third is a misunderstanding worth correcting early.
Everything agencies and freelancers ask before moving their clients across.
WHM and cPanel, private nameservers, SSD RAID-10 storage and a WHMCS licence on Elite — with your brand on everything your clients see.
