The cheapest way to keep something running around the clock. A Windows Server session in our USA location, delivered within minutes of payment, for less than most monthly streaming subscriptions — with the Windows licence included.
Three shared Windows Server desktops in the USA. The Windows licence is included on every plan, and the renewal price matches the price you sign up at.

Deploy NowRDP stands for Remote Desktop Protocol, the technology Windows uses to let you see and control a computer that is somewhere else. Shared RDP means that computer is a Windows Server in our data centre, and that you share its processor and memory with other users, each of you working in a separate account with your own desktop, your own files and your own applications.
The practical effect is that you get a second Windows machine that is always switched on, always connected and reachable from anything you own. You connect from your laptop, do some work, disconnect, and everything you left running keeps going. Open the same session from your phone an hour later and it is exactly as you left it.
That single property — always on — is why most people buy it. A trading terminal that must stay connected to the market, a tool that syncs files overnight, a browser session that collects data while you sleep, a long download, an application that has to be reachable while you travel. None of those need a powerful server. They need one that never turns off, and they need it to cost very little.
Because resources are shared, a Shared RDP plan is deliberately modest. You get a usable desktop with enough memory and disk for normal applications, not a workstation for video editing or heavy compilation. When your requirements grow past that, the upgrade path is a Windows VPS with dedicated CPU, dedicated RAM and full Administrator rights, starting at $19.99/month.
We are also clear about what is not included. There is no automated backup and no snapshot service on these plans, Administrator rights are limited, and bulk automation or encoding work is not permitted on a shared machine. Knowing that before you buy is worth more than discovering it afterwards, which is why it appears here rather than in the small print.
And, just as usefully, where it stops being the right tool.
Your session persists when you disconnect. Close the laptop, lose your internet connection, travel between cities — the work on the server keeps running.
Provisioning is automated, so credentials reach your inbox within minutes of payment clearing rather than after a manual setup queue.
From $7.49/month with the Windows licence included and no setup fee. A dedicated Windows machine costs many times more.
RDP is the most attacked port on the internet. Our endpoints are rate-limited and monitored so repeated login attempts are throttled automatically.
Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and Linux all have Remote Desktop clients. Your Windows desktop travels with you on whatever device you are carrying.
Outgrow the shared machine and move to a Windows VPS with dedicated resources and full Administrator rights whenever you are ready.
These two products look similar in a list and behave very differently in use. Getting the choice right first time saves you a migration.
| Feature | Shared RDP | Windows VPS |
|---|---|---|
| Starting price | $7.49/mo | $19.99/mo |
| Resources | Pooled between users | Dedicated to you |
| Administrator rights | Limited | Full |
| Install any software | Restricted | |
| Performance consistency | Varies with other users | Consistent |
| Reboot when you like | ||
| Backups included | Daily backups | |
| Locations | USA | All 47 locations |
| Best for | Light always-on tasks | Anything time-sensitive |
The gap between the two products is small enough that the decision should be made on fit rather than on price. Ask yourself one question: does it cost me money if this is slow for thirty seconds at an unpredictable moment? If the answer is yes — automated trading, anything time-sensitive, anything a client sees — buy the VPS. If the answer is no, a browser tab that collects data overnight, a tool that syncs files, a second desktop you check occasionally, then Shared RDP is the smarter purchase and we would rather you spent less.
Light, always-on Windows work is where this product earns its keep.
Keep MetaTrader or a broker platform connected around the clock so charts, alerts and automated strategies keep running when your own machine is off.
Run desktop rank trackers, crawlers and research software on a machine that stays online, instead of tying up your laptop for hours.
Let large uploads, downloads and cloud sync jobs finish on a server with a fast connection rather than on a home broadband line.
Keep work applications separate from your personal machine, reachable from the office, home or a phone, without carrying a second laptop.
Try an application on a clean Windows Server session before installing it on your own computer, then walk away when you are finished.
Reach the same desktop, files and logged-in applications from any country, on hotel Wi-Fi or mobile data, with nothing stored on the device in your bag.
From payment to a working Windows desktop usually takes less time than making coffee.
Pick Basic, Professional or Advanced depending on how much shared memory and disk your applications need.
Your IP address, username and password arrive within minutes of payment clearing, along with connection instructions.
Use the built-in app on Windows, Microsoft Remote Desktop on macOS, Android or iOS, or an RDP client on Linux.
Set a long, unique password of your own, install what you need, and leave it running for as long as you like.
It is not a bulk-automation platform. Mass account creation, proxy services, large-scale scraping and running many parallel sessions from one account are not permitted on a shared machine, because they consume capacity other customers are paying for. Shared servers are monitored for resource abuse. If your work genuinely needs that scale, buy VPS capacity — it is the right product and it will work far better.
It is not an encoding or rendering machine. Video encoding, 3D rendering and similar jobs saturate a processor for hours at a time. On a shared server that degrades the experience for everybody, so it is not allowed here. A dedicated VPS with its own cores is the correct home for that work.
There is no backup. These plans ship with no automated backup and no snapshot service. If the desktop is lost or you make a change you cannot undo, there is nothing on our side to restore from. Copy anything you would be uncomfortable losing to your own machine or to off-site storage, before you need it rather than after.
Administrator rights are limited. You can install and use normal desktop applications, but changes affecting the whole machine — drivers, system services, group policy — are reserved. If you need that level of control, a Windows VPS gives you the entire operating system.
None of this is meant to discourage you. Shared RDP does one job extremely well at a price that is hard to beat, and being precise about its limits is how you end up with the product that actually fits.
RDP is one of the most frequently attacked services on the internet, for the simple reason that a successful login gives an attacker a working computer. Our side of that bargain is rate limiting and monitoring on the RDP endpoints, so repeated failed logins are throttled rather than allowed to run indefinitely.
Your side is mostly about passwords. Change the password from your welcome email to something long and unique the first time you connect, and never reuse it anywhere else. A passphrase of several unrelated words is both stronger and easier to type on a phone than a short string of symbols.
Beyond that, the usual habits apply: keep Windows and your applications updated, install software only from sources you trust, sign out of applications you are not using, and avoid storing credentials in plain text on the desktop. If a piece of work involves genuinely sensitive data, consider a Windows VPS where the machine is yours alone rather than shared.
