Overview

Istanbul VPS Hosting for Turkey & Beyond

Turkey is one of the largest internet markets between Western Europe and South Asia. It has a young population, exceptionally high social media use, a competitive e-commerce sector and a well-developed domestic hosting market. For any business selling to Turkish customers, serving them from inside the country is the obvious baseline rather than an optimisation.

Istanbul is where that infrastructure concentrates. The city sits on the boundary between Europe and Asia and carries a very large share of the country's internet traffic and interconnection. A Turkey VPS in Istanbul reaches Ankara and Izmir within about 10–12 ms, which effectively covers the country's main population centres from one server.

Every Vebloom Istanbul VPS runs on KVM virtualization with NVMe SSD storage. You get an isolated virtual machine with guaranteed CPU cores and memory, full root access and a dedicated IPv4 address. Host a Turkish-language website, an online store, a media platform, a SaaS product or a Windows Server environment, set up exactly the way you want it.

The regional picture is useful too. Sofia, Bucharest and Athens typically sit within about 20–30 ms, Frankfurt around 45 ms, and Baghdad roughly 45 ms. A VPS in Turkey is therefore a reasonable single origin for Southeast Europe and parts of the Middle East, not only for the domestic market — with the price for this region printed on every plan card.

Our eight Turkey VPS plans start at $19.99/month and scale to 32 GB of RAM with 16 cores. Whether you need a cheap Turkey VPS for a first project or a Windows VPS in Istanbul for business software, you renew at the price you signed up at, with identical specifications available in every region we operate.

Why Istanbul

Why Choose an Istanbul VPS?

Turkey has a large domestic internet market and sits on the routes between Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.

A Large, Online Population

Turkey is one of the biggest internet markets in the region, with very high social media use and a well-established e-commerce sector.

Where Two Continents Meet

Istanbul straddles Europe and Asia, and its networks reflect that — short paths west into the EU and east into the Caucasus and Middle East.

Local Speed for Turkish Users

Serving Turkish visitors from Istanbul rather than Western Europe removes roughly 40–50 ms from every round trip.

KVKK Data Protection

Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) sets clear rules on processing and cross-border transfers, and local hosting keeps residency straightforward.

A Mature E-commerce Market

Turkish online retail is competitive and fast-moving, and store speed is a direct factor in conversion.

Turkish-Language Services

Host Turkish-language websites, portals and applications on infrastructure inside the country your audience lives in.

Network Reach

Low-Latency Reach From Your Turkey VPS

For Turkish visitors, an Istanbul VPS is a clear improvement over hosting in Western Europe. Frankfurt typically adds around 45 ms and London around 55 ms on every round trip, and those milliseconds repeat for each request a page makes.

Domestically the coverage is excellent: Ankara and Izmir usually sit within about 10–12 ms of Istanbul, so there is rarely any need for a second Turkish region.

If a significant part of your audience is in the EU rather than Turkey, compare with our Frankfurt and Warsaw locations, each of which publishes its own plans and prices.

From Istanbul toTypical latency
Istanbul, Turkey~2 ms
Ankara, Turkey~10 ms
Izmir, Turkey~12 ms
Sofia, Bulgaria~20 ms
Bucharest, Romania~25 ms
Athens, Greece~30 ms
Frankfurt, Germany~45 ms
Baghdad, Iraq~45 ms
Dubai, UAE~70 ms
London, United Kingdom~55 ms

Approximate round-trip times over typical routes. Real-world latency varies with your ISP, peering and time of day.

Use Cases

What You Can Run on a Turkey VPS

From high-traffic stores to regional SaaS, an Istanbul VPS gives you dedicated resources in the middle of a large, active market.

Turkish E-commerce

Host WooCommerce, OpenCart or custom storefronts for a competitive retail market where page speed affects conversion directly.

Media & Publishing

Power news sites, video platforms and content libraries for Turkish-speaking readers with fast local delivery.

SaaS & APIs

Deploy multi-tenant applications serving Turkey first, with Southeast Europe and the Middle East within easy reach.

Corporate Systems & Portals

Run dashboards, CRMs and internal tools for organisations that need their data processed inside Turkey.

Mail & Business Services

Operate mail servers, collaboration tools and business applications on a server you control end to end.

VPN & Secure Remote Access

Provide a Turkish IP address for distributed teams, contractors and testing of locally targeted services.

Plan Guide

Which Turkey VPS Plan Is Right for You?

All 8 plans share the same KVM platform, NVMe storage and Istanbul network. The only difference is how much CPU, memory, disk and bandwidth you get, so the right choice depends on what you plan to run.

1–2 GB RAM

Starter Projects

With 1–2 GB RAM and a single CPU core, these plans suit personal websites, landing pages, a small WordPress blog, a private VPN, Discord or Telegram bots, cron jobs and development sandboxes. They are the most affordable way to get root access and a dedicated IP in Istanbul.

4–8 GB RAM

Growing Businesses

Our most popular range. 4–8 GB RAM and 2–4 cores comfortably run WooCommerce stores, several WordPress sites behind a control panel, Node.js or Laravel apps, internal tools and CI runners. Most businesses serving Turkey start here.

8–16 GB RAM

Performance Workloads

8–16 CPU cores and 16–32 GB RAM give you room for busy databases, SaaS platforms, Docker and Kubernetes nodes, high-traffic media sites, analytics pipelines and several production services on one server.

16 GB RAM and above

Data-Heavy & High Concurrency

With 16–32 GB RAM and 8–16 CPU cores, these plans handle large databases, search engines, media processing, CPU-based AI inference and enterprise applications that need to stay close to users in Turkey.

Not sure where to start? Pick the smaller plan that fits today and upgrade as you grow — moving from one Turkey VPS plan to a larger one usually needs only a brief restart and your data stays in place. Because every Vebloom region prints its plans and prices up front, adding servers in other regions later is just as easy to budget for.

Included

Everything Included With Every Turkey VPS

No setup fees and no paid add-ons for the essentials — every plan ships with the same core features.

Instant Deployment

Your Turkey VPS is provisioned automatically, usually within about 60 seconds of payment. Choose your operating system, set your credentials and connect — no ticket queue and no manual setup delays.

DDoS Protection

Multi-layer DDoS mitigation is included on every plan at no extra cost. Malicious traffic is filtered before it reaches your server, helping keep your Istanbul VPS online during attacks.

Full Root Access

Complete administrative control over your server. Install any software stack, tune kernel parameters, write your own firewall rules and run whatever services your project needs — no restrictions.

NVMe SSD Storage

All plans use NVMe SSD storage, which reads and writes far faster than traditional SATA SSDs. The result is quicker page loads, snappier databases and faster builds and backups.

Automated Backups

Daily automated backups keep your data safe, with seven days of snapshots available so you can restore your VPS to a previous state if an update or deployment goes wrong.

24/7 Expert Support

Our engineers are available around the clock via live chat, email and WhatsApp to help with provisioning, networking and server-level issues whenever you need them.

Data Residency

KVKK & Data Residency in Turkey

Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law, known as KVKK (Law No. 6698), has been in force since 2016 and is overseen by the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu). It sets out lawful bases for processing, obligations to inform data subjects, security requirements and specific conditions for transferring personal data abroad. Those transfer rules are the reason data residency comes up so often in Turkish procurement conversations.

Hosting your VPS in Istanbul keeps the data stored on that server physically inside Turkey. For companies working with Turkish banks, public bodies, healthcare providers or large employers, being able to state that plainly removes an obstacle that frequently appears early in a vendor assessment, and it avoids the need to document a cross-border transfer mechanism for data that never leaves the country.

Server location is only one part of KVKK compliance. With full root access to your Turkey VPS, you control encryption, access management, logging, backups and retention, and you remain responsible for registering where required and processing personal data lawfully. Our team is happy to discuss your requirements before you deploy.

FAQ

Turkey VPS Hosting FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most about hosting a VPS in Istanbul, Turkey.

A Turkey VPS is a virtual private server hosted in a data center in Turkey — at Vebloom, in Istanbul. You get an isolated KVM server with guaranteed CPU, RAM and NVMe storage, full root access and a dedicated Turkish IP address.
Turkey VPS plans start at $19.99/month for 2 GB RAM, 1 core, 50 GB NVMe storage and 1 TB of bandwidth, and scale to $199.99/month for 32 GB RAM, 16 cores, 50 GB NVMe storage and 2 TB of bandwidth. Your renewal price matches your sign-up price.
Our Turkey VPS servers are located in Istanbul, which carries the large majority of the country's internet traffic and interconnection.
Yes. Both typically sit within about 10–12 ms of Istanbul, so a single VPS comfortably covers Turkey's main population centres.
For Turkish visitors, yes. Frankfurt usually adds around 45 ms per round trip. Hosting in Istanbul removes that for local users, which is noticeable on page loads, API calls and checkout flows.
Yes. Every plan includes a dedicated IPv4 address from our Istanbul location, which most geolocation databases identify as Turkey. IPv6 is available and additional IPv4 addresses can be requested.
It keeps your server's data inside Turkey, which avoids the cross-border transfer questions KVKK raises. Compliance also depends on your lawful basis for processing, your security measures and how you inform data subjects, all of which you control with root access.
Yes. Sofia, Bucharest and Athens typically sit within about 20–30 ms of Istanbul, so one server can cover a regional audience as well as the domestic one.
Yes. Windows Server 2019 and 2022 are available on supported plans. For remote desktop and Windows business applications we recommend Turkey VPS 2C-4G or higher.
Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, CentOS and Fedora are all available, and you can reinstall or switch operating systems at any time from the control panel.
Very much so. Turkish online retail is competitive and shoppers abandon slow stores quickly. We recommend Turkey VPS 2C-4G for a growing catalogue and Turkey VPS 2C-8G or higher for larger stores and campaign periods.
Yes. You have full root access, so you can run Postfix, Dovecot or a full mail stack. We recommend configuring SPF, DKIM and DMARC properly, and our team can help with reverse DNS.
KVM is hardware-assisted virtualization that gives each VPS its own kernel and dedicated CPU and memory. It offers stronger isolation and more consistent performance than container-based hosting, and supports Windows and custom kernels.
Provisioning is automated and typically completes within about 60 seconds of payment, with your login details emailed immediately.
Yes. Move to a larger plan whenever you need more CPU, RAM, storage or bandwidth. Most upgrades require only a brief restart and your data stays in place.
Yes. Every Turkey VPS includes multi-layer DDoS protection, daily automated backups with seven days of retention and 24/7 support via live chat, email and WhatsApp.
VPS plans are eligible for a refund within 7 days of purchase if the issue is on our side, such as hardware failure or a data center outage. See our Refund Policy for full details.
